Our Story
Meet Cheri and Taylor!
They’re the proud owners of Blue Moon Cajun Cafe in Bridge City, Texas
Cheri and her husband Ken have been married for 42 years and are proud parents to 4 children and grandparents to 9! Thirteen years ago, they opened That One Place in Atascocita, Texas—known for its mouthwatering crawfish and New Orleans style shaved ice.
Taylor, has been a vital part of the family business since graduating from Texas A&M in 2015 (Whoop!). She and her husband Dallin have two children. Taylor works alongside her parents at their original location.
Cheri and Taylor began the journey of purchasing Judice’s Cajun Cafe the very week Taylor’s son was born. After a long and meaningful process we were able to open the doors a Blue Moon Cajun Cafe in May of 2026- with the name and theme inspired by Cheri's late mother Jean.
Cheri and Taylor started out the in the crawfish and Cajun food business 13 years ago. They have always focused on good food and even better customer service and that is exactly what they hope to bring to Bridge City. They’ve always taken pride in serving their community in Atascocita, and they can’t wait to bring that same heart and hospitality to Bridge City!
